Welcome! I’m Laura, founder of The Art and Design Room, which I established in 2019 to provide inspiring art lessons for children, built around the ethos of “Art for All.”

With over 20 years of teaching experience as a Head of Art and Fashion, professional mentor, and moderator, I am passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that place student well-being at the heart of learning. Over the past five years, I have worked in partnership with Tutors and Exams, supporting students across Fine Art, Textiles, and Photography. During this time, I have successfully entered over 300 candidates across five Tutors and Exams centres, helping students achieve outstanding outcomes while developing confidence and creativity​
