GCSE Art Textiles 

As an experienced and passionate Textiles Specialist teacher, I am delighted to offer GCSE Art Textiles courses to home-educated learners across the UK. In partnership with Tutors and Exams, I have successfully supported students over the past five years with exam entries at their Doncaster, High Wycombe, Coventry, and St Neots centres.

My personalised approach encourages students to develop their own creative projects and individual style while exploring a wide range of textile techniques, including crochet, embroidery, appliqué, printing, fabric manipulation, hand and machine stitching, dyeing, and mixed media experimentation. Students have created garments, soft furnishings, and highly individual textile outcomes, with many progressing on to study Fashion and Textiles in further education.

Sessions are delivered through a combination of live Zoom workshops and practical, hands-on Art and Textiles Days, providing students with both creative guidance and technical support in a nurturing environment. Small group teaching allows students to build confidence, refine their skills, and produce ambitious portfolio work tailored to their own interests and strengths.

Students consistently achieve outstanding results, reflecting the supportive, creative, and individualised nature of the course.
